The two outreaching tower represent the idea of releasing as the towers are moving outward away from the center. While the crystal like shape below ground represents the idea of frozen as the structure is in deep underground.

Week 1 Studio

My Best Piece of Creative Work

This is a Project that I have done during my Studies at Foundation Studies at UNSW. It's mainly about building a model of an imagined space while also applying elements and principle of design on it. For this model I have focus on making a focal point along with contrast throughout the space. I think that this is my best piece of creative work because I enjoy doing this project compare to all the other ones (also because that this work has got into the exhibition).

A Great piece of Architecture

Umeda Sky Building, Osaka, Japan
Hiroshi Hara

The Umeda Sky Building is one of the most well-known landmark of the Osaka city. It was design under the concept of "City of Air" and was completed in 1993. Obviously, the most notable feature of this building is the empty space between the two towers and most importantly the roof part 'floating' among it. The Umeda Sky Building is one of the highest within the area makes it an ideal place for sight seeing and with its 'floating' roof, It makes the building as one of the most outstanding piece of Architecture for the field and one of the favourite building of mine.

Something Beautiful

Japanese Ornaments

These colourful ornament was founded in a festival celebrating the first day of the year at a temple in Tokyo during my trip to Japan. The Japanese people treat the day as one of the most important day of the year and they will visit temples and shrines and wish for good luck for the rest of the year. And after that they will buy some ornament to ensure their luck (like the ones in the picture). These ornament contains a lots of different objects which represents that the family will live good throughout the year. I really like these ornaments because of its delicateness and colourfulness.
